With the successful launch of Guinness Matchday in Africa, football fans who couldn’t travel to existing activations were clamouring to be involved in the action. We developed a plug and play, tourable version of our Matchday events, so we could drive further scale, access new areas and connect with more fans to enjoy these unique, elevated screening experiences, crafted by Guinness. We planned for the core parts of Matchday, such as giant screens, HD audio, comfy furniture and hero bar serving beautiful Guinness… to exist all in one truck.
The test event was in Kampala, Uganda, and we worked with local teams to deliver a weekend of Premier League action and a celebration of football culture.
